Sri Lanka Welcomes the World – Free Tourist ETA for 40 Countries!
Sri Lanka has introduced a free Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for tourists from 40 countries, effective from 25 May 2026. Eligible travelers can now obtain a 30-day tourist visa free of charge with a double-entry facility.
All travelers, including those eligible for the free visa scheme, are still required to obtain an ETA before arriving in Sri Lanka.
This initiative makes it even easier to discover Sri Lanka’s breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, wildlife, cuisine, and world-renowned hospitality.
